There’s really a lot to be said about the cannabis culture and the one’s taking the steps to lead the way in the industry. As you know in some groups cannabis and music are hand in hand and a particular group: Two Five Trees Productions are bringing the scene together just like so.

Last Sunday October 15th, Two Five Trees Presented an Old School Night at the Cultura event center in Tacoma Wa, just one of many events they have thrown.

What a Hit! People From all around the Pacific Northwest flocked to see the Old School Hip Hop Rap Artists Krazie Bone, Wish Bone,(members of Bone Thugs-n-Harmony) and Thug Rapper from the 90’s Spice 1.

It all kicked off at the Two Five Trees Shop location in Tacoma Wa, where they hosted press opportunities, autograph signings, and a Bar-B-Que to fill you up before you jumped on Lyon Pride’s Party bus to transport you to the show! Talk about V.I.P

Before the Interview with the members of BoneThugs-N-Harmony, we got to take a glimpse at the local scene and talk to the local artists and cannabis supporters bringing the two communities together.

Public Figures Like Rapper Kush of THC Farms and Chris Krazy were there making an appearance supporting their peers from the Bad Yoshi Group (Yodi Mac, ScribeMecca, DJ Waffles) and Off The Dome as they represented their beloved 253 before their opening performance, that we were all eager to see.

We are excited and privileged to have asked the questions to the artists that are taking their career to new heights and we high-ly recommend you getting to listen to ScribeMecca and Yodi Mac from Bad Yoshi and checking out more from them.

Here is What they had to Say: Q & A

How does Music and Cannabis connect to you?

“Cannabis has been a part of my life since a child really. I think the first time I was high I was 8? Watching my brother play Final Fantasy X.
As far as how Music connects, It has always been an outlet. I’ve currently been struggling with no Job, or funds outside of mix tape sales and show money for food,But the music is a constant stream of peace for me; it puts me back in focus on “okay yeah, this is what I’m about. This is what matters.”
It was the same during childhood. But that’s a deeper conversation.”
Yodi Mac: “Music and cannabis connect with me everywhere. I live with the rest of my group Bad Yoshi, so the music is there all the time, as well as the smoke. I tend bud at Two Five Trees so when I’m not working on music I’m up at the dispensary. Always have smoked when I’m writing and a little when I record, definitely when I sit and just listen to an album or listen to new tracks we’re making and just vibe out.”

Where do you see yourself in the future?

SCRIBEMECCA:” In the future? In 5 years I see 5 albums out. 20-30 mix tapes, Euro tour complete, & clothing brand started.”

Yodi Mac: “In the future hopefully Yodi Mac and Bad Yoshi are both memorable and respected names in the music industry. Short term I just want to get on this festival circuit, and tour next year. I definitely want to get deeper into the cannabis industry as well. I dk which direction to go yet, but I got some ideas I want to put to work.”

What would you say to people to help support them and their dreams?

SCRIBEMECCA: “And for all the dream chasers I’ll say it like D.L. Hughley, “Manifest those dreams” or something like that. Make a way, and love yourself.”

Yodi Mac: “I would just say to love the grind. It’s gonna cost a lot of time and a lot of money, but if you love it, put good people around you, and go get it.”
